Was at the game, and he could just not hang onto the ball for more than 3 seconds. Gave the ball away almost everytime he had possession of it.

We looked so much stronger without him in the team, Abeid needs to start for the rest of the season imo.

Aye he was crap but then again all motivation has gone completely from the team under Pards and now Carver. I still believe under a decent manager him and Abeid could be good for us in the defensive mid roles. He has had some diabolical games for us (this one included) but has had some blinders too . Same thing as with the rest of the squad, needs a decent manager.

It's becoming glaringly obvious why he was only a sub at Twente. He's an absolute liability.

And fucking shame on those idiots shouting SHOOOT when he's in possession 30 yards out. Fucking morons.

The shooooot is so annoying, its not even an ironic one like Jon Jensen at Arsenal, the crowd really want him to shoot. What has he had two really good shots, worse thing is, he is dull enough to play up to the crowd.

Looked completely shot today. Not sure if worse or equal to v Burnley. Two worst performances I've ever seen from him. Thank god for ACON.

  • 3 weeks later...

To be fair to him he looked half decent when Cabaye was alongside him. He has been atrocious since though. Why pay £9million for Tiote when they could probably spend £15million for Sissoko and afford it...

Would be a terrible signing for Arsenal. Even Coquelin is probably already better.

He'd give them a bit of steel and presence which they still lack IMO. I don't think they would sign him though, probably just made up.

If Wenger can get him back to his Hughton days of getting it and giving it he could be ok I reckon.

He's also surrounded by hugely better players that actually move and want the ball. Not Jack Colback or Gouffran.
