Calm down man lads, it's not the club's fault.

are you joking as well?

I am actually, aye.

I've slagged the club off worse than shite over this for the last week but I was told it wasn't the club's fault.

The cynic in me thinks they're not specifically saying what is wrong with his visa because they know we'll look it up and read that it could take up to 10 weeks.

Just sums up the way the club is run generally.

Top and bottom of it is that they don't care.

I think they'll care about paying Tiote's wages for 10 weeks while he sits with his feet up at home.

Yup. The attention to detail at the club is absolutely shocking.

And people had a go at me when I said we shouldn't have rested him end of last season to avoid suspension...idiots.

Aye, the people who wanted him ready for the start of the season could have known this was going to happen while the club coultn't.  Honestly, give your head a shake.

what difference does it make where he lives? He won't be playing football, that's the point.

It makes a difference that thanks to the club's shambolic organisation, one of our key players is stuck in limbo, away from home as it happens, not at home.

Bet he's over the moon at this. A real victory for club/player relations. When Chelsea come in for him, no doubt he'll think of this and be desperate to stay here.
