mrmojorisin75
i'm all for a bit of kooky internet humour but shola is not funny any more like
Ronaldo
He wasn't funny 5 years ago. He was a tragic waste of space.
JH
Hoping he stays ffs
cubaricho
He's comfortably better than a lot of crap that has graced our team. I'm not saying he needs to be first choice but 3rd/4th/5th choice isn't crazy. I don't think five more years of bambi on ice will hurt that much. Guest dover
Ridiculous. Hopefully theyre talking about sammy and not shola.
SGSC
He's never going to leave is he?
timeEd32
Would be really funny if he got Sammy and Shola mixed up. Would make sense to get Sammy locked up since he seems to have found his stride over the last 6 months or so. According to nufc.com his contract is up in June. Unfortunately, so is Shola's. NEEJ
YES!!! Just the news you wanna come back to. NUFC wouldn't be the same without him. He's been here pretty much since I can remember. It's a nice touch

Guest VegasToon
The only reason to keep him is to play him against the Mackems. Besides those two games I hope he never sees the pitch.
Mike
:omg: I know we're not supposed to, but I fucking love Shola.

Mike
He'll definitely be our manager one day. It's crazy, his entire career and all of these years will be like, the first five minutes of the documentary they make about his tenure as manager. Ameobi: Imagining the Impossible. The man that won the league and the World Cup. A retrospective of the life and career of Sir Shola Ameobi.
Geordie Ahmed
I am torn over this news. I love Shola BUT he is undoubtedly crap (except when it comes to playing the Mackems and taking penalties) It would be quite fitting for him to finish his career here BUT hopefully he is only 3rd choice at best
Mike
Shola playing would be a tragedy. Madness!
Shak
My thinking is that we're not going anywhere for a long time, mid table mediocrity is the very best we'll achieve with Ashley in charge. May as well get some laughs along the way.
