thewellander
One good performance by Cabaye and Ben Arfa next season and nobody will ever think about Kevin Nolan again. Having good performances and results will bring the lads together with or without Nolan.

Guest MrSundlofer
Just sad how fast people forget... The end. What has anyone forgotten? What Nolan did for the club. Not okay to call him "bad" words. He is maybe not worthy of a new 5-year contract. But he did great things for this club, Marcelino, Souness and Gullit didn't.
TêteDeMaure
This would make me LMAO: NOLAN FAILS MEDICAL West Ham Deal is Off The potential reaction? :frantic: Doubt that would happen, they arent fussy with medicals, Demba Ba case in point.

Guest Wally_McFool
As me and a few others have alluded to, Pardew doesn't rate Nolan. Any manager with an ounce of sense would see that he isn't a PL midfielder anymore. He's an easy-to-mark striker, basically. OK. http://tinyurl.com/6yhkbgn
Carlito
Sad to see him go rather than Smith tbh. I do think we can do better than Nolan as well but I can see Smith staying for now.

I don't know how old you are, but you should know better than to absorb ridiculous motivational soundbites.
Andy
Will be disappointed if he leaves, but even though I'm a fan of his I couldn't see how he was going to fit into the team next season based on the snippets we've read about the kind of system Pardew's wanting to play. He's turned out to be one of the best signings we've made in the last ten years, which I don't think ANYONE expected, and we have an awful lot to thank him for, but with all the changes taking place at the moment it's probably a decent time for him to move on. Keefaz
Mr Newcastle I know it's daft, but it'll be less funny when it's all moody Frenchmen who couldn't give two shits.

Beezeri
And I thought West Ham had bad memories about fat players with bad fitness levels? Does one Benni McCarthy ring any bells? Or is it just Allardyce whose tactics are so organised that the players don't even need to run? TBH...I'm not that disappointed because Nolan didn't offers that much. He's just a guy who happens to be in the right place at the right time to score goals but that's a strikers job not a midfield players
dinotheprehistoricgeordie
I always thought that this summer would be one of upheaval for the club, and with the 35million to spend, (assuming it is spent) a number of new players were going to be bought. Having a captain like Nolan to help settle these players into their new surroundings would have been a great help, instead it seems whoever gets brought in will be joining a club in turmoil ala Xisco (that turned out great). Ok Nolan isn't the best player at the club, but I still believe he's one of the most important. We at least should have got Joey and Enrique to sign new deals before selling him

Baggio
Any idea of what fee we're getting? I'm guessing £2.5 million with another £1 million if they get promoted.

Mr Logic
The team spirit line is massively overplayed. As is the 12 goals we wouldn't have got without him. Oh wait, there would have been a different player there.. who hypothetically might have been a better player, scoring 3 goals with 5 assists and due to his all round better contribution - more possession resulting in 5 extra goals for the strikers. 13 goals, yay, can't go wrong.
