Dokko
work rate against football, jonas against marveaux...if you r a coach who do you pick up? one year later, pardew starts to see, coach of the one year later.. Bit unfair, Marv has had two huge injuries. yes it's true, but if i'm a coach and i know a player can bring something to my team, i play him every time i can... sometimes marveaux was not even on the bench, for pardew he was not good enough, like ben arfa last year... let him play 5 games, and we l'see the difference in the style of play of the team but i know, i m not a coach He's over cautious with those types of players, wants to up their work rate so they aren't a liability, it went on too long for hba, but end result we got a better player for it. Add to that the injuries I can see why it's taken longer with Marv, hopefully this is his breakthrough game, but he's got to stay fit, that I have less confidence in going off his medical history. Fingers crossed eh?

Guest
Looks absolutely glue at the moment. Needs dropping to kick him in the arse again. I don't think that will do any good. I just think he's done now as a Premier League footballer.
Ronaldo
Looks absolutely glue at the moment. Needs dropping to kick him in the arse again. What good would that do? He's always been a relatively poor player who gets by on athleticism. He isn't going to get younger because you take him out of the team or slap his backside. Fingers crossed eh? For me, ben arfa is not a better player than two/three years ago... remember his match against everton, this is kind of a legend to say that pardew has changed "ben arfa"..he just needed games to not prove every minute that he could be a starter. Skeletor
We definitely need to upgrade so that he can be a squad player next season. Having him play near enough every game is not helping any one.
Mick
I really like Jonas but he can't be first choice any longer.

Just previously when he's been dropped/had his position threatened he's come back with a bit of fire in his belly. He's very comfortable at the minute I think, his place is pretty much guaranteed. It'll make a man lackadaisical.
Varadi
What on earth has happened to Jonas? He's only 29, his legs shouldn't be anywhere near gone yet but he looks absolutely shot. Hopefully just a confidence issue making it look worse...
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
genuinely think me gran, who has been dead 4 years, would have offered more than him tonight.
Cajun
Love the bloke but whenever he gets the ball now I desperately hope he shifts it as soon as possible. Never had any end product but his work rate was top notch and he could draw a foul but he fails to do that these days so is left with not much left. Real shame. Dokko
Problem is we will never get rid of him, high earner and long contract. Wonder if someone is stupid enough not to have realised what's going on, bit like us when we signed Geremi.

Lotus
Excellent attitude. No longer sure what attributes he offers for what we want/need. Attitude goes a long way with managers though.

Fenham Mag
Shot of confidence, shot of fitness, really going through the motions last night. Looked to pass the ball off so quickly when he had it instead of running. Just looked completely finished.
Guest firetotheworks
I still think he has something to give as back up in a midfield 3. Other than that, he only really offers relentless graft, which tbf still does go a long way with me.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
He offered absolutely nothing last night. Going forward he is easily nudged off the ball or tackled, his passing is horrendous he looks like hes running through treacle when he makes a run with or without pressure from the opposing player. He does cover the fullback well however hes awful at actually making a tackle, we had 3 players around Kone at times and Gutierrez still felt the need to stand and watch him or not see him onto his weaker foot with Fergie/Santon making last gasp recoveries to win it back. Is he actually finished as a PL player or is it something else?
