Me first away match was FA Cup 3-0 against West Brom in 74. After that I thought got to have more of that.

Next 100 away games I went to, only saw 3 wins. Good job it wasn't all about the results. :coolsmiley: :Jonny2J:

Outside of Australian stadiums only one of now was the Centenario in Uruguay, that was an eye opener for a 16 year old on the other side of the planet

Watched Venezuela beat Uruguay 3-0 in a World Cup qualifier. In fairness, most of the crowd were laughing, if that had been Brazil or Argentina they would have started setting fire to things.

Anyone go to the Abbey Stadium for the away with Cambridge United in 1992 when we won 2-0 and Kilcline marked Dion Dublin out of the game?

Yes if it was the midweek game. Got there around lunchtime, leathered by KO. Thought it was foggy, but watched the highlights back and it was clear.

I've only been to three live games.

Barcelona vs AC MIlan (CL Semi Final, Nou Camp, 2006) (0-0) (saw prime Ronaldinho, Kaka, Shevchenko etc in the flesh)

Newcastle vs Bolton (PL, St James Park, 2010) (1-1)

Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle (League Cup, City Ground, 2011) - 3-4 (Ben Arfa comeback game, Coloccini scored the winner)

I am long overdue!

I've been to other stadiums for an event or conference - e.g. King Power Stadium, Milton Keynes Dons, Sheffield United Bramall Lane, Elland Road, Villa Park etc but they were not for footy games.

Bit of a surprise result IIRC. Wasn't there but went the following year when i think we won 3-0. Must have been promotion season, glory hunter that i am :)

Agree - used to run the gauntlet all the way up Linthorpe Road.

Maine Road was also a bit eggy as was Feyenord.

Yes. They could have gone top with a win and just the sort of team that used to do us over at the time (Tranmere, Southend, Notts County), know I pretty much wrote it off and was pleasantly surprised.

Same here. Saw some bloke just ahead of us hooked into an alley as we walked up to the away end for the coca-cola game in 92. Hard to believe they hadn't long since perfected that art.

Yeah I saw Venezuela beat Uruguay 3-0 in 2004, we had flown to Uruguay to play in the Punta Cup in Punta Del Este, alongside other youth teams. That game was eye opening

In no particular order other than me reading off the league tables:

  1. SJP
  2. White Hart Lane
  3. Tottenham Stadium
  4. Wembley (New)
  5. Upton Park
  6. London Stadium
  7. Emirates
  8. Sellhurst Park
  9. City Ground
  10. Villa Park
  11. Stamford Bridge
  12. Craven Cottage
  13. Goodison Park
  14. Portman Road
  15. King Power
  16. St Andrews
  17. Carrow Road
  18. Stadium of Light
  19. The Hawthorns
  20. Ewood Park
  21. Coventry/Ricoh Arena (whatever the new ground is called these days)
  22. Loftus Road
  23. Vicarage Road
  24. Liberty Stadium
  25. Hillsbrough
  26. Riverside
  27. Bolton/Reebok
  28. The Abbey
  29. Pride Park
  30. London Road
  31. The Valley
  32. Reading/Madejski
  33. Wigan/JJB
  34. Doncaster/Keepmoat

A fair few non-league grounds, that are so low in the pyramid.  I would need to look at and work out which ones I have been to watching mates play.

Abroad, if we are talking watching football only.  Then Camp Nou and Club Brugge.
