broonalegeordie
Hughton keeps surprising us. He might be using this to keep Nolan out long-term. If we get a win here, he'll just say that he doesn't want to break apart a "winning team." We have to win this first, though, to have a "winning team". aye but if we dont win he can give the team "time to gel"
BeloEmre
Hughton seems to have a real problem picking a balanced side but hopefully Guthrie will just be glad to be back playing and put in a good shift on the right. Normally he looks like he'd rather be in Iraq than on the wing. He can deliver a decent cross now and then. The only alternativ is Routledge who has been shite in the last matches. So what would you want Hughton to do?

BeloEmre
Wigan: Al Habsi, Alcaraz, McCarthy, Thomas, Di Santo, N'Zogbia, S. Caldwell, Gomez, Boyce, Stam, Figueroa. Subs: Kirkland, Watson, Boselli, Moses, Cleverley, Rodallega, Diame.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
have to agree with Mick Lowes and Ando like. Barton probably should be captain. Colo doesn't appear very vocal and his English isn't that great.

Subs: Kirkland, Watson, Boselli, Moses, Cleverley, Rodallega, Diame. That team is very poor minus the left hand side.

Guest MrBrown
have to agree with Mick Lowes and Ando like. Barton probably should be captain. Colo doesn't appear very vocal and his English isn't that great. Doesn't really matter who the captain is in terms of being vocal, etc. It's not as though the captain's armband is like a primary school 'talking stick,' and you can't speak without it. I personally think it's a good decision, because the more important aspect of naming someone captain is the personal pride they will feel, and as a reward for good service, and to that extent, Colo is a better choice. Besides, how much English do you need during a match? Enough to be understood, that's all. He's not going to be reading Ulysses out loud to them. BeloEmre
Dan King - NUFC: For those of you asking about Kevin Nolan - he's picked up a couple of knocks in training this week, so he's just missed out this weekend.
