AyeDubbleYoo
I work with a big bunch of Arsenal fans, so this is particularly pleasing. I do as well... tomorrow should be good. I'll be going with the quiet and understated but secretly smug approach. Might just wear my scarf to our team meeting, that's all. I think they'd be more concerned at seeing your knob rather than the result if you did that like. Touche. I meant along with clothes, obviously. Guest Pedro_de_geordieo
By the way, couple of embarrassing dives by Nasri and Chamakh in the first few minutes... they were very lucky to get away without bookings. Chamakh should definitely have been booked for his dive next to Enrique. Blatant cheating there. The Arsenal fan on Fan Zone was thoroughly embarrassed by that. He went f***ing off it. Anyone got a link to this?

Colocho
Went to the match today, still stunned at just how good we were with the ball. It's great to see a Newcastle side playing as a team, for the first time since Sir Bobby.

leazes.ender
Its taken me from Kings Cross on the 5pm train until north of Newcastle just now to work through all the pages from today. Absolutely forking magnificent topped off by having some twisty faced Gooner sitting opposite until the Toon. For all the whinging about spoiling tactics that'll be bandied about today was nothing of the sort, unless the definition of that includes turning Fabregas into a cynical little twat and fairly bullying Wilshire off the ball. Firstly. Tiote is just immense. For 2 successive games he's been booked early on (todays was a complete joke) but he's shrugged it off and still dictated the midfield. Please don't get injured. For all we defended from the front to make Arsenal resort to hoofing it forward was brilliant. Like that was going to work today with Colo in Willo just fantastic. At times i thought Shola was a bit lazy but at other points he's showing signs that after 10 years he developed a brain and touch that allows him to hold up the ball and bring others into the game. Carroll is fearsome at present. Just before the free kick the fella in front was saying how they were letting him win the first ball in the hope he's not have anyone near him for the 2nd. Genius tactic that when he's 8 yards out mind. Right, now i've got that off me chest i'll go back to hoping EastCoast's wifi holds up for another hour to get me home and the link to the Barton / Krul interview finally plays. 1-0 to the Geordie Boys....... Nobody
Just brilliant when they started to resort to long balls in the second half, couldn't have been more confident that nothing would come out of any long ball they attempted.

I think this is the thing Wenger will be most annoyed about. I said during the game that I was amazed they didn't just keep patient and carry on probing... you would have thought they would have got enough encouragement that it would create some good chances. Probably just frustration got the better of them because they expected to batter us.
Segun Oluwaniyi
This recent run of results is exactly what the club needed. Mitigate the relegation risk and start look upwards into the higher numbered places on the table. Arsenal were awful today, btw. We didn't even really bully them or anything of that nature. They just never arrived. They must have left their intensity in Ukraine.

TRon
I think we came of age today as a team. No doubt last week was a swashbuckling performance but today we out-passed the best passing team in England. Tiote must already be worth twice what we paid for him so he's paid for Hughton's new contract already IMO. Bring on the rest of the season.
Guest BooBoo
Some Arsenal fans saying it was one of Fabregas' worst performances. Shut down by the Tiotalliser. Cheikmate.
