Anyone tried this? toondle.com 

Got to guess the surname of a toon player past/present. At the guess stage you can enter a 1st name and if any of the letters in your guess are correct it will fill in the squares but tell you if those letters are in the right/ wrong places. It's canny.

Just done it, got Ginola in 3. My favourite ever player so don't know why I went Barnes, Hislop 1st and 2nd

Only get one a day unfortunately as I'm finding it quite addictive. Answer was 8 letters long on Saturday and was doing my head in. Answer was Kilcline. Took me til my last guess and the clue of his birthplace of Nottingham.

Been doing it for over a year now most days.

 

Find it trickier than wordle to do woth just the letters and normally need at least one clue (although today I managed it without.)
