EthiGeordie
No Tiote and probably no new signings by Sunday, this is the team I'd play: Harper Simpson Willi Colo Enrique Gosling Barton Nolan Jonas Ameobi Best
SUPERTOON
No Tiote and probably no new signings by Sunday, this is the team I'd play: Harper Simpson Willi Colo Enrique Gosling Barton Nolan Jonas Ameobi Best I know we are desperate, but to play Gosling in a match like this after a year out and no football, would be sheer madness. SUPERTOON
The good thing for us is Sunderland's weakest area is the midfield, so Barton and Nolan will be crucial.
Guest labrowski
It has to be Harper Simpson Williamson Collocinni Enrique Routledge Barton Nolan Jonas Carrol Best If smith starts I give it 10 mins before he's sent off!
Guest Wearside
Welbeck,Cattermole and Onouha all still with a chance of playing according to Bruce.

Neil
Welbeck,Cattermole and Onouha all still with a chance of playing according to Bruce. Have a feeling Bruce is saying that just for the hell of it. Wasn't Welbeck supposed to be out for 3 weeks, and that was only announced a week/week and a half ago? Something's fishy. And it's not Bruce's afternoon snack.

David Icke - Son of God
Barton in the middle is suicide. He's the only player we have who can deliver a cross and the chances are Ameobi and Carroll will be playing up front.

However, Barton in the centre also means the utterly shit Routledge wide. It's one hell of a selection headache.

Bruce does it all the time, after we played Blackpool over Christmas,Welbeck was supposed to have done his hamstring and low and beyond 3 days later he was playing against Blackburn. Cattermole is not injured as such but has been told to rest his back,I think he will definetely play.
Guest The_Optimistic
id rather have routledge on the wing than smith in the middle: --------Harper------- Simp--Will--Colo--Jose Rout--Bart--Nol---Guti -----Carrol(fingers Crossed) ----------------Loven---

I guess Man U will have the final call on Wellbeck - looked like a bottler at SJP but seems to have done OK since.

Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Gotta be Harper Simpson Williamson Coloccini Enrique Routledge Barton Nolan Jonas Ameobi Carroll Smith and Nolan in the middle is the only other alternative- but that is suicide. Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
I think we'll find a way to rush back Shola and AC.
TRon
Might have to start Danny Gutless. Although he's the last player you'd want in the trenches in a derby match, Sunderland's midfield isn't great so he might not be a disaster.
