Mr Logic
Wouldn't surprise me if we were struggling in relegation territory with all the other injures/lack of a squad etc...

AyeDubbleYoo
Wouldn't surprise me if we were struggling in relegation territory with all the other injures/lack of a squad etc... We don't really have any more injuries than before today's game when we were talking about pushing for Europe FFS. Even if Enrique misses Stoke, Barton will be back and probably Ireland. RupertCommunicator
Europe was a realistic target this morning. Now we have very little chance. I would take 9th now. Hopefully Big Mike will give Big Pards some cash now, we need a 2nd XI too, you know!

Anderson
Its fizzling out isn't it. Oh well. This is what I was thinking before, the all too familiar feeling of the season being over with a couple months left. Still cannot argue, it's better than being a relegation dogfight. Guest neesy111
Well, that's just made the rest of the season very boring. It means your neighbours are very likely to not be in Europe next season.
Neil
Well, that's just made the rest of the season very boring. It means your neighbours are very likely to not be in Europe next season. This is true, yes. I was still hopelessly optimistic that despite our shitness we'd still mount a charge for 6th. Ah well, it was the hope that killed anyway. The RS without any European football is quite an amusing thought, mind. That is, until they fluke their way to the Waffa final.
Ketsbaia
What happens if Man City win the UEFA Cup? Is that an extra spot for 6th place? Despite the prospect of Stoke in Europe, I'm actually pretty pleased about this. Firstly, theres no hope of Sunderland getting in Europe. Secondly, if Liverpool don't get in, then I'd be more confident of Enrique staying. We were never ever going to finish 6th anyway.

Yorkie
I'm struggling to keep up. What's changed to make it only the top 5?
JH
I'm struggling to keep up. What's changed to make it only the top 5? One of Stoke/Bolton will be in the FA Cup final.
Neil
I'm struggling to keep up. What's changed to make it only the top 5? Either Bolton or Stoke will make it to the final. This means regardless of the result, one of them will get a Waffa Cup spot, because Man Utd/Man City will finish in the top 5. That is, unless Reading beat both Manchester clubs. JH
So we want Reading to win the FA Cup and City to win the UEFA Cup? Great
Yorkie
I've come to terms with the fact we might not be playing in Europe next year.
