TRon
I know I'm biased, but I think he would choose us over all those clubs except maybe Liverpool. It's not bias, it's good judgement. I know wearside can't bear the possibility that Newcastle might be considered more attractive than Sunderland but it is for most players wages aside. There's also the added attraction of Newcastle's growing French legion. Zog himself sold the club to Cabaye, not to mention his mates have let it be known that he'd love to come back. Guest Wearside
I know I'm biased, but I think he would choose us over all those clubs except maybe Liverpool. I think you are wrong. Not a cat in hells chance he would choose any of the NE clubs over Liverpool or Spurs, Villa pay big wages and will be desperate for a wide man.Everton possibly on a similar level but on a pure footballing perspective not sure why any player would choose any of our teams over Everton, who will finish above both of us as per normal next season. AyeDubbleYoo
Honestly can't see any reason why he would go to Everton or Villa ahead of Newcastle. Neither are teams on the up or with the French influence and attachment he already has for us. Not saying we will get him, and you have a point about Liverpool and Spurs (if they're even interested) but otherwise I think we've got a decent shout. Baggio
Villa have made plenty of noises about the need to reduce their wage bill so I don't see them offering N'Zogbia silly money.
mrmojorisin75
have we even been linked to zog or is this all based on the deadline day bid?
DJ_NUFC
Where does the idea of all this supposed "affection" he has for us come from? He had a terrible time in the months leading up to his exit, not to mention he was constantly not played or played out of position by Souness, who preferred the neanderthal Duff instead. If anything, I can see him seeing us as an important step in his development, and may want to try out pastures anew. I hope to be proved wrong, though. I'd effing love to see him in a b+w shirt again.

BottledDog
have we even been linked to zog or is this all based on the deadline day bid? Don't think he's ever been more than that and 'people close to N'Zogbia' saying he'd be delighted to return. All this, 'it's good Gervinho's buggered off, as now we'll get Charlie back' is just pie in the sky I reckons. /'be happy as a sand boy to be proved wrong mind. Everton maybe but they need strikers before they need someone like Charlie, looking at Villa atm I don't see why any player would choose them the mess they're in

I still fall back on that one to explain pretty much all evils of the world.

Fellaini is a native French speaker as well. An advantage of signing for us would be not having to move house again. Think we're still a bit ahead of you squad-wise too, but a move to Newcastle would have its own pluses. Reckon our chances of doing a deal depend greatly on quick sales of fringe players (Yobo, Yak etc) to raise the cash.

Ketsbaia
Sunderland are busy with other signings and selling Gyan Everton need to sell Yobo and Yakubu first Aston Villa don't even have a manager yet It makes complete sense to bid for him now. Not saying that we haven't, but we really must do it now. At the minute only Liverpool might be in the way, but hopefully they want Mata and Adam instead.
