Never seen the fuss about him tbh. Not sure where he'd fit into our side either, and I doubt he'd come to be a squad player when he could get that at Spurs or first-team football elsewhere.

I think his best position is on the left side of a midfield 3, like Charlie Adam. We have Barton, Gosling and Guthrie who could play on the right side of a midfield 3 with Tiote in the middle.

                  Harper

Simpson Colo Willo Enrique

                  Tiote

      Barton            O'Hara

HBA                            Jonas

                    Best

How can you not rate O'Hara wherever he's been hes prouduced the goods never been given a proper chance at spurs  proved at pompey last season what a player he is and carried it on at Wolves top player who scores goals would have him here anyday.

I just don't think he's very good.

Or an average player who's stood out amongst the cack?

Hope we go for Celso Borges, young and good player but unproven at the highest level. In his last contract year and we would probably get him for less than 500k.

Yeah, because and Tiote and Ben Arfa equated to one too many.

Ben Arfa doesn't count and is still unproven, we have to consider him as a new signing for next season.

Therefore Ben Arfa, Gervinho and Gameiro would be one too many in my opinion.

Utter pigshit.

He has played two full games for us.

He proved enough for us to buy him at a low price, but he hasn't done enough to show that he has settled into this team. Change too many players too quickly and we suffer.

He's a quality player. We should be building a team around him.

To put a limit on the amount of quality players we bring in is fucking barmy. The more, the better.

Anyone of our Icelandic members here who can check out this story?

Nothing about it here. Us and Fulham were both very interested in him before he moved to Hoffenheim though (according to his former manager or agent, I can´t remember which) so it wouldn´t come out of the blue. Gylfi isn´t happy at how often he´s been on the bench, even after the sale of Luiz Gustavo he still doesn´t start that many games. In addition Demba Ba was his best mate over there, his sale and the resigning of Ralf Rangnick haven´t had good affect on him.

Missed the boat there I think. Should've gone in the summer. He was class at Reading.

Yep. If he decides to move he'll have plenty of options to choose from, especially if he does well in the Euro U-21 this summer. People should check out his goals for the Icelandic u21 against Scotland in the qualifying playoff games.
