Not sure where he'd fit into our side either, and I doubt he'd come to be a squad player when he could get that at Spurs or first-team football elsewhere. We have Barton, Gosling and Guthrie who could play on the right side of a midfield 3 with Tiote in the middle. Ben Arfa doesn't count and is still unproven, we have to consider him as a new signing for next season. Therefore Ben Arfa, Gervinho and Gameiro would be one too many in my opinion. Utter pigshit. He has played two full games for us. He proved enough for us to buy him at a low price, but he hasn't done enough to show that he has settled into this team. Change too many players too quickly and we suffer. He's a quality player. We should be building a team around him. To put a limit on the amount of quality players we bring in is fucking barmy. Us and Fulham were both very interested in him before he moved to Hoffenheim though (according to his former manager or agent, I can´t remember which) so it wouldn´t come out of the blue. Gylfi isn´t happy at how often he´s been on the bench, even after the sale of Luiz Gustavo he still doesn´t start that many games. He was class at Reading. Yep. If he decides to move he'll have plenty of options to choose from, especially if he does well in the Euro U-21 this summer.
