His release fee is just €5m, and Hércules are skint.

His wife is very rich, iirc.

Reckon Jose Salomon Rondón would be good enough for Newcastle? Young and seemingly having a good season for a rather poor team.

Absolutely. He's strong but he's comfortable on the deck. He is still rough, but has the makings of a pretty good player.

Anthony Ujah? :) Scored 4 goals for Lillestrom today, scored 14 in 26 games last season. Born in 1990.

Well, Mikel played for Lyn, which was the shittiest team in the league by a landslide.

The occational gem does pop up!

Edu at Hoffenheim as well, Moa/Konan Ya at Hannover, Rogne at Celtic, Tettey at Rennes, Bolaños at FC Copenhagen etc etc.

Norway will produce some good players in the years to come imo

Out of the four players mentioned, Norway produced only one. The league is a good starting place for foreign talent, though.

I think he's talking about the batch of Norwegian 17-19 year olds coming up in this season now almost all clubs are bankrupt and need to focus on talent development rather than the ones already shipped out.

Almería and Hércules starting to look certs to go down. You could fish up Piatti from Almería, Mbia as a decent backup for Tiote. Nelson Valdez from Hércules is a good player, but it looks like you have already 20000000000000 people that can play off the main striker. Trezeguet is probably too old.

bit surprised at the low release clause tbh....Spanish clubs usually have some ridiculous buy out fee. Though not exactly a prolific goalscorer ,but strong, quick, good on the ball and he would certainly be worth having for 5m euros IMO.

What's Weiss been like up at Rangers this season? Worth having another look at him this summer?

He's been great on the few games I've caught, too good for that league.

It's all part of the negotiation. In this particular case Valdez agreed to cut his wages (nee chance in hell Hércules could meet Dortmund wages), in exchange for a low escape clause.

imo he's still very raw. He may have the talent but he doesn't always make great decisions. He doesn't even start all the time for Rangers, man.

Yeah you know better than me mate I've only seen him a handful of times. He's a fantastic dribbler.
