Is it just me or does it look like they've walked in on a swingers party or something? Back row all look super embarrassed, Lee and Batty look fuming, like why are you doing that there? Bez just looks disappointed not to be involved and Tino and Barton are just like... yeeeeeeah!

Barnes has seen something the others haven't!

Was that the 4-1 loss at Derby when we finished with 8/9 men? Looked doomed to relegation to the 3rd tier for the 1st time. A defiant away support.

Got to be hasn’t it?

Delayed due a bomb-scare, three players sent-off and as you said, it looked like we were down to the 3rd tier for the 1st time ever.

Imagine telling you that day that in two years time we’d finish 3rd in the top flight and in four years time we should have won the top flight!

Aye me cousin sent me that pic, was saying still best away end he's ever been in to this day. Think it was @Wallsendmag or @Whitley mag who said a similar thing when talking about match atmosphere but could be wrong

Must have been Whitley mag cos I wasn't at that one. I only went to Blackburn and Cambridge away in the 91/92 season (my first season as a ST holder). Blackburn was absolutely mental I remember. Probably 4k of us in the Darwen End. David Speedie scored at hattrick for them and took great delight in antagonising the away end. Quite a few tried to get onto the pitch to get hold of him. Funny to watch as a fresh faced 14 year old [emoji38]
