Neither of them are out-and-out wide men, especially not the latter, but it'd provide the team with more balance. I can't understand why Pardew's been stubborn with the 4-4-2. he changed the set-up last week and it worked a treat. We're not out of this though. Can't see it being repeated, we'll need an Arsenal style turnaround in the way we are playing to turn this around. 2-1 flatters us really, there's no creativety out there without Barton and it's keystone cops type defending at the minute. Punk77 Posted March 5, 2011 Share Posted March 5, 2011 With all our injuries it's not surprising that we struggle a bit. Everton is a good team that always have a good finish on the season. We're now missing Enrique, Barton, Ireland, HBA and Ranger. Four of them are classy players that would be missed in many teams. Too bad we're not cynical enough when in attack. It's very important to finish our attacks so avoid counterattacks. Probably bad defending on the first goal though. Arteta was able to run straight into the box without pressure.
