TRon
I hadn't really noticed the dislike of Gosling on here, must say. I haven't seen much to make me think he'll tear up any trees, but that depends on the type of football we play. In a short passing side I think he'll be limited and Abeid will probably turn out to be a better option in the long run. If we play a more direct style though, then Gosling would be ideal. He gets stuck in and makes intelligent runs from midfield. I can see him being used to good effect during Tiote's absence.
Guest Recoba
He does not look ready for Premiership football yet. Definite talent though.
TRon
He does not look ready for Premiership football yet. Definite talent though. If he's given a few games to feel his way in I'm pretty sure he'll look ready soon enough. Like Krul, experience will make all the difference. Guest
It's like giving Brian McClair the assists for Beckham from the halfway line, and that Cantona chip over Lionel Perez.

Fenham Mag
Nice piece in the Chronicle today from an interview with Ben Arfa. Bigging him up massively and that him an Abeid are very close outside the training ground and not in a Big brother way but as mates .

Mole_Toonfan
this boy is suppose to be a winger and can play in defence , apparently, when not injured. can't see why people would slag him considering he hasn't done nowt for us to really to judge. apart from a few subs appeareance, and getting sent of for a two footed tackle. is he any worse than Obertan? surely he deserves more opportunities. What? i thought he was a CM?

He subsequently played in the European U-17 Mehdi Abeid thread man
