His treatment under Pardew was generally non-existent. He get a run in the team, played well, then got injured - Pardew left.

But it was Carver that really treated the lad unfairly. Kept individually digging him out in the press and from the sidelines. And IMO his form suffered as a consequence badly. Looked extremely nervous under Carver. His performance were very poor but imo you could literally hear and see why. Talking silly fouls, mistakes, passing etc.

Under SMC he would've been the best DM in the club i'm sure. Absolutely fantastic at his best.

Unbelievable.

Generally agree with most of it, and would've loved to see him at the club still.

Love it. Cheeky hint maybe? Would be genuinely shocked if he came back. He looked like he had a ton of promise but we never got to see it, for reasons we are all aware. That said would think there are better options out there if we are bringing a central mid in.

he was a really canny lad. lived on our estate with his family. often saw him scuttling round in his tiny fiat with his mam and dad. was also great with the kids on our estate. nee jonny-bigpants. really humble and down to earth.
