themanupstairs
Once again a showing of Matic proportions. The Serb has earned a ton of praise for what he has brought to Chelsea this season (rightly so), and Abeid has been a carbon copy in that midfield for us. buzza
I think him and colback make a for a really good pairing tbh... moussa in front of them gives us some forward drive. Mehdi is always lookign for a positive pass, nothing gerrardesque (which I like) but always moving forward. I quite like the team set up at the moment, imagine if we had a cesc type midfielder we'd be a carbon copy of chelsea... cough *** cough***
Skeletor
Glad he's shining now. Sad that Pardew will take the credit for it.
Dave
How close is Tiote to fitness?
Pilko
Another steady, strong, controlled performance. Aside from that hospital ball he played to Coloccini in the first half he didn't do anything wrong.
Disco
Another steady, strong, controlled performance. Aside from that hospital ball he played to Coloccini in the first half he didn't do anything wrong. Wasn't even that bad. Anichebe was nowhere near getting it and should've been booked for ploughing through Coloccini.

He undercooked it a touch like, but agree re: Anichebe being lucky to escape a card for the challenge on Colo.
ponsaelius
Yeah he seemed to get criticised for the pass just because Anichebe killed Colo.
Andymc1
He's quality. Absolute
Geordie Ahmed
Class, chuffed he is playing really well Playing alongside Colback further highlights how good he is because he is involved all the time whilst Colback is a passenger with the odd decent moment
arnonel
Thought he was immense yet again. Long may it continue
Disco
Colback was alright second half tbf. Standard 6/10.
Guest Howaythetoon
He was quite wasteful in good areas in an attacking sense today, but what I liked about him is his constant demand for the ball, even when marked. That's the sign of a confident player and indeed a good player. Defensively he was superb.
The College Dropout
Moves the ball faster and crisper than Tiote, actually has some presence and provides dat der tackle unlike Anita. Anita's emergence is the end for one of them imo.
Kanji
He's bossed the midfield in all of his starts. Evidence enough he has to be 2nd name on the team sheet after Mous
The College Dropout
Also nicely involved in both goals wasn't he? Simple but effective passes.
The College Dropout
With Abeid here, I don't see why Colback needs to play at the same time really. We could be making that spot a more advanced position for Anita to link things up. Anita doesn't deserve to play. Colback on the left of a three likes to tuck in and retain shape allowing Haidara to bomb on works very well.
sempuki
Think his contract runs out in 2016. They might want to start thinking about offering him another one.
SteveMc
And he'd no doubt be grateful enough to sign it at present. Get on it Charnley pre Christmas.
Dave
Very impressive again. Pardew is the jammiest prick around.

Dan Gleebals
Was brilliant yesterday. Showed for everything, pass and movement was great and has good vision too. New contract please ASAP!!!
TaylorJ_01
Colback was alright second half tbf. Standard 6/10. I don't think he'll ever get a higher mark than that to be honest.
AyeDubbleYoo
Colback was alright second half tbf. Standard 6/10. I don't think he'll ever get a higher mark than that to be honest. I found it hard to rate Colback, he was generally anonymous but then he would make some good interventions at times.

Because he doesn't do anything in particular he doesn't do anything wrong. Crowd loves a run and tackle though so he'll generally be well received.
