Sifu
Leicester sign Nugent, putting together a nice team there Definitely sounds like they're going to be strong promotion/title contenders next season.

ponsaelius
Loan or sell? Would be a strange move for them to sell him.

jdckelly
doesn't say just says make bid without specifying transfer or loan
ponsaelius
doesn't say just says make bid without specifying transfer or loan Schwarzer is getting on and their other keepers are 39 year old Zuberbuhler and Neil Etheridge. I thought Stockdale was the long-term replacement so would be strange for them to sell him. Edit: Zuberbuhler has gone to be goalkeeper coach for the Philippines, surely the aforementioned Etheridge has had some part to play in that.
Guest Heneage
Leicester sign Nugent, putting together a nice team there Aye. Penalty hero Yann Kermorgant is back from loan too Edit: Just seen they've signed that utter c*** Lee Peltier from Huddersfield. ??

Mr. Snrub
By the time Downing leaves, Villa will have got at least £60m for him, Ashley Young and James Milner. There are no words to comprehend how insane that is.
Flip
Yeah but will have spent almost 40% of that on Bent.

Cajun
Yeah but will have spent almost 40% of that on Bent. Fair enough imo. One of the most consistently prolific strikers in the league. When the likes of Henderson are going for £20m then £4M more for someone who constantly makes a positive contribution in games is a bargain.

Dave
If they get anything like £15m for Downing then IMO we can wave goodbye to N'Zogbia.
Segun Oluwaniyi
If they get anything like £15m for Downing then IMO we can wave goodbye to N'Zogbia. N'Zogbia isn't English, though?

toontownman
Feck me, Downing for 15m? Enrique for 25m then. Maybe they will give us a straight swap for Carroll.
Ketsbaia
Surely with all the mental transfer fees lately, £15m is fair and in fact slightly cheap. I'd put him ahead of Henderson and Milner, for example.
