Dinho lad
Been watching Russian football on ESPN since the season started (about 6 weeks ago), it's been quite entertaining actually. Some good teams and good players there.
Mole_Toonfan
Really not sure an established PL player would move to Russia, how many have done that in recent years? apart from the ones who were past it. There's a reason a lot of Brazilians from Portugal and other minor leagues go to Russia because of the really significant money increase. Not like there's an issue with money in this country, really doubt HBA would go to Russia. Especially after his quotes a few months back when Tevez was suppose to be going PSG " Tevez going to PSG is like me going to a Big Club in Switzerland" Might be being a bit Naive but i really think HBA would only leave for a massive Spanish, English or Italian club or maybe even Bayern if they needed a Ribery replacement. Maybe I'm naive but there's something different about him, he's not the usual moneychasing tosser.

Apperently Ben Arfa came here during the 2010 world cup just to play. Seems like the type of guy who just loves footy and skinning people left and right. Bless him. Ridiculous the fees the regularly manage to sell players for, makes the 20m Inter paid for Pereira and Guarin seem like a very good deal.

Ridiculous the fees the regularly manage to sell players for, makes the 20m Inter paid for Pereira and Guarin seem like a very good deal. They get huge fees because most of the time their players are owned by 3rd parties. Hulk for example has a big % of his rights with a third party investor. They may have got 40m for the beast but they most likely will only see 8-14m by the time everyone else is paid up.
Village Idiot
Word that Martins could sign for Levante this Tuesday. What a journeyman he is now. Levante have thrived by giving a second chance to failed/aging footballers, who knows, it might even work well.
Fugazi
Predictably the "CR7 to Citeh" rumours have started, couldn't see him going there at all though... Has anything been said by either Ronaldo or Real about the situation, VI?
Village Idiot
No. He's been avoiding the press in Portugal's camp. Suppose there's lot of things happening behind the scenes and they will come out with something soon.
