Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

I love this game about guessing how much we would accept. £19,439,000 for me like.

Aye, and you'll want that all going towards paying off the loans. You don't want a replacement and you hate Ruel Fox.

Nah, we can spend the £439k on players, that shouldn't put our future at risk.

:pow:

It's like Bruce's Price is Right.

If Hull's transfer talks don't involve this then it's a massive opportunity missed.

I hope no one use's this as an excuse.  For whatever might happen tonight, he should play.  If he doesn't then it could be a sign....

Don't see why he wouldn't start, Ba was a little different as we accepted a bid and he was given permission to speak to Chelsea.

I'll be shocked if he doesn't start.

Me too, he will obviously play.

(If he doesn't, we need to start making bids for players before every match)

Arsenal make shitter bids than us. I'd be furious with that bid if I was an Arsenal fan. Clearly a good player, clearly we are not going to sell at that price.

Maybe the Arsenal board enjoy trolling their fans like ours. Maybe they'll employ George Graham as DOF to get deals over the line shortly?

On a slightly related note, the transfer window should definitely close before the season starts.

Yep, it'd go some way to reducing 'player power' as well.

Sure Cabaye would wait in any event to see how they go in the CL qualifier?

If I'm in Cabaye's shoes, I'll jump at Arsenal's offer no matter what. One of the world's top managers, an attractive attacking side in the CL yearly as opposed to the current world he is in. The choice is more than obvious really.

They'll not make it through the Champions League qualifier.

Wenger will be gone before Pardew.

Stay right where you are Cabaye old son.

I was taking the piss but agree, although personally, I don't think Wenger still retains the "top manager" status. Too long without Silver!
