LoveItIfWeBeatU
Brilliant news on .com about Senegal drawing Ivory Coast in the ACoN qualifiers. [/don't care if Giggs] New year boost for Magpies Saddled with an additional drain on resources by the scheduling of African Nations Cup Finals in successive years, Newcastle's current squad will only be deprived of players from one country after the qualifying draw threw up what is something of a dream tie for Alan Pardew. That's because Cheick Tiote's Ivory Coast have been paired with Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse's Senegal side - with only the eventual winner advancing to January's tournament in South Africa. The two-legged ties take place in the early September and mid-October international breaks, with the pairing a result of Senegal's recent poor form that relegated them into the unseeded category.
