Current line up...

madras

Recommended Posts

                        Krul

Taylor  Williamson  Coloccini  Enrique

Barton    Tiote    Cabaye    Jonas

                    Marveaux

                        Ba

is how I'd line up against the Arsenal scum.

That looks quite tasty

The problem is, it'll be more like:

                                Krul

          Taylor Williamson  Coloccini  Enrique

            Barton Tiote    Cabaye    Jonas

                            Marveaux

                                  Ba

I think we will see this for the first two games:

                          Krul

Simpson  Williamson  Colocinni  Enrique

Barton     Cabaye       Tiote        Jonas

              Ba              Best

Once our injury problems are resolved, I would like to see:

                            Krul

Simpson  Williamson  Colocinni  Enrique

                          Tiote

Marveux                                   Jonas

               Barton       Ben Arfa

                           Ba

But where the f*** does Cabaye go?!  I reckon it will go down to whoever is injured, as only Tiote, Ben Arfa and Ba are nailed on in in our midfield/attack.

Taylor gives us far more going forward.

Cant argue with that, but I wouldn't want to see all 3 of our CB's on the pitch at once. Begging for an injury, that.

Coloccini is like Bruce Willis in Unbreakable, all he needs is a cape. Williamson is pretty robust when he isn't trying to push weights with those skinny arms.

And at any other club in the world ever, that would give me faith in them nor getting injured. But this is Injury FC we're talking about

Williamson had flappy arms last year. Bet he's trying to build up some steel. Could be quite a handy defender. A couple of years in the top division and he could well be a late bloomer for a magnificent defender.

He hasn't played at this level before. So I would expect him to adapt more and be more aware. He allready look like he got his mind in the right place in the games and I bet he will just keep on improving.

Cabaye would be ahead of either Barton or Marveaux, 100% certain of that. Our first choice cm pairing will be Tiote and Cabaye.

Cabaye's going to be a regular.

Why not?  In my system I am playing Barton as a AM alongside Barfa.  I do agree that Cabaye is the better CM and would be better ALONGSIDE Tiote, but would he be better than Barton playing off the striker?

Erm, probably. I'd almost rather play Alan fucking Smith as a supporting striker. Barton has nothing that would make him a success off the striker.

Probably because you wouldn't play Barton off the striker

Taylor at right back? Not so sure about that, like. Not just basing that on the horrible Everton game, either. Well aware he's done well there before, coincidentally against Everton under Kinnear.
