Guest BooBoo
Heroic goalkeeping performance today and if hadnt been for James we would have strolled home. Begs the question why is the spectacularly average Paul "Get the Pies in" Robinson keeping goal for England?
Dave
James is the Bramble of goalkeeping. When he's good he's very good. When he mucks it up it's usually with ridiculous consequences. Did you see the goal they let in last week? Clueless.
Yorkie
Because James did nowt but cock-up in his last year or so in the team. He was immense today, though.
Guest TheOrder
He's been immense all season for Pompy.
Guest nufc16
tbh, robinson was supposed to be a steady if unspectacular keeper. since he's come in he's made more mistakes and looked as, if not more dodgy than james did. wouldnt go back to james though. perhaps try a young keeper. last 4 or 5 years have shown how lucky we were to have seaman for so long. Better than Paul "as long as it goes straight at me we should be ok" Robinson!
gdm
James looks like the gay barman in Emmerdale with that hair

Aphrodite
I'm sure I remember people calling for Robinson to be in the team when James played. Seems the England position carries a lot of baggage in fans' minds!
Cajun
I'm sure I remember people calling for Robinson to be in the team when James played. Seems the England position carries a lot of baggage in fans' minds! Remember Robinson never seemed to get beaten by any ball that went a yard or two away from him on the ground! stozo
At the Carling cup game me and a few other fans were taking the piss out of his hair.

safc
Davis James has always had the ability to be one of the best keepers in Europe. However his inconsistency has been his major downfall. If he could have sorted that out a while back he would have been fantastic and still been at Liverpool or moved on to a top European side.

Guest sittingontheball
Good, but not as good as Shay last week. Coming back in and playing that well immediately, the man's a legend. We were simply on the receiving end this week.
