Disco
Paul Huntington was a very tall LB. That worked out quite well. Paul Huntington was a centre-half being played at left-back. Aye, he was piss-poor, but he was out of position like. Scored against Spurs in one of my favourite games in recent memory, for that he'll always hold a special place in my heart. /brushhairacrossforehead /tuckshirthalfintoshorts

Guest
It does seem good that this summer anyway, it seems that if someone goes we're replacing them straight away or before hand. (Cabaye for Nolan, Obertan for Routledge, Pieters for Enrique).
Guest
Doesn't look bad having two full Holland internationals, two Argentinian internationals and two French internationals on our books either!
SteveMc
Hope this lad comes in today. Really important for the mood of fans and players for Saturday.
oldtype
If the Enrique deal happens before Saturday but this doesn't, somebody needs to be 'd to within an inch of his life.

Guest
Couldn't care what either fee is. Main thing is it's one in, one out.
toon25
For those that are familiar with both players, is Pieters better than M'Bengue? He's defo cheaper, which is why we're in for him, but I just wondered if it's a case of price over quality here.
A.C
Big fan of Dutch personalities and what they bring to squads.

I am sure he served some long bans for breaking legs etc. I think the dutch guy would be a safer option
adam1
Couldn't care what either fee is. Main thing is it's one in, one out. My point was whether the Enrique fee will be spend all on Pieters or will Ashley have made a profit?
Guest
Fair enough, personally doesn't bother me as long as we've replaced him.

Guest sicko2ndbest
Got no basis for this whatsoever but I think he is going to be a bit of a let down Too much expectation that he is as good as Jose and the fact that he actually isn't
Guest
I can see him being the dependable unadventurous type, again, based on nowt.
Guest Recoba
Journal says club hope to tie this one up before weekend. Better than MBengue for me because no ACN duty.

I think it is underestimated the impact Jose had in the attacking aspect of nufc He seems a left back in the mould of warnock, Robinson all about defending Oh and he looks like Rozenthal
