Valencia signs Aly Cissokho

Recommended Posts

Reading an article on a swedish fan site about Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas' latest rant. He has apparently said that he wasn't too pleased with some of the high earners performances last season and that they will be looking to flog some players. One of those mentioned in particular is Cissokho who has been pretty vocal the last few days (according to the article) about his intentions of leaving Lyon and has also hired a lawyer who specialises in sports.

Could we be lurking in the shadows perhaps?

Not the bump I wanted but interesting nonetheless

Not the bump I wanted either and I'm dubious about the interesting aspect too.

From what I've heard, he's been a bit s**** in the last year and a half. Maybe a change of scenery will do him some good, maybe not. But if we do go for him then I wouldn't mind as such. If the scouts are happy with his ability then pourquoi pas?

OL missed out on the CL for the first time IIRC in a while so you'd imagine they'd have to cut a few high earners.

Between us & Sunderland. :yao:

EDIT: Looks like it could actually be Sunderland.  :scared:

"According to 10 Sport sources, the Lyon full-back still has contact with Newcastle. The player is attracted by their project, but Alan Pardew's side at the moment prefer to focus on the the transfer of Debuchy. The French newspaper also says there's interest from Sunderland. This information comes on the back of "des Gones" President, Jean-Michel Aulas' quotes in L'Equipe saying, "serious discussions are underway with a Premier League club".
