He's definitely getting a lot more stick from the press:

Best bit:

Consider: a Premier League consisting of three or four teams fighting the drop, four or five scrapping for the European places, and everybody else existing in a strange limbo, devoted to the business of staying a Premier League club purely because staying a Premier League club is good business.

Kind of like now, but much, much worse. Even though Newcastle seem okay, as these things go, they absolutely must secure an unlikely relegation.

That's the last thing we've got to cling to: this shambles of an owner cannot be permitted to be correct.

I am glad the media are starting to see the bigger picture.

If Ashley's running of NUFC is deemed a success (as it has been to date) then other clubs will follow suit and it will kill the league to the point where you might as well reduce the league to 10-12 clubs as everyone is just trying to do enough to stay on the gravy train.

Aye, this has been my hope. Enough clubs of big sizes don't bother to compete and are just happy to turn profits. Us, Spurs, Villa, Southampton, Swansea, West Ham just not bothering too much as long as we are safe.

Thing is though, it's cheap sports clothing. Nobody gives a fuck why it's cheap; it's still decent quality stuff in many cases. People are treated like mugs because unfortunately a lot of them are.

Difference with NUFC is that people can't go elsewhere, and the quality is fucking abysmal.

Bet Ashley is pissing himself laughing at this 'shocking' expose.  FFS.  Was hoping they were gonna link him to Saville-gate or something.

 There's a brilliantly simple Paint job to be made right now.
