magpie1892
You get what you pay for and the problem is, that many of our senior players are being vastly overpaid. I wish we did get what we pay for. Riviere, for example, is a League Two/Conference standard player.
Big Geordie
You get what you pay for and the problem is, that many of our senior players are being vastly overpaid. Aren't those two points contradictory? Are suppose it means you pay higher wages for superior quality and relative to the quality of our current squad the figures are skewed as they are not worthy of the wages they are paid anyway. Apologies for not being clearer.
BlueStar
Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley will launch a full management review at the end of the season, regardless of what division the club are in, as he seeks an explanation for another dreadful campaign. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/04/07/mike-ashley-to-launch-newcastle-review-at-end-of-season/

MickMack
Did he not do the whole investigation thing when we went down last time? Waited till just before the season in the championship started, kept us and Shearer waiting for weeks fot a decision on the manager situation? Fell lucky mind with Hughts
NG32
He's had 9 years and still fails. The bloke decided 9 years ago to not listen to experienced football people like Allardyce, KK or Shearer and...All this mess is his. The people who he has surrounded himself with for football advice is an absolute shocker. The only thing I can think of is Allardyce, KK and Shearer told him stuff he didn't want to hear, so he moved them on, one way or another. Hired people who would do as they are told but its ultimately cost him one relegation with another on the way. He has to look at himself.

NG32
I can give him a one-sentence executive summary - Mike Ashley is a clueless t***. And surrounds himself with yes men and promotes people who are massively unqualified for the roles they have, as they do as they are told. Nothing but a hooky ice cream man, selling dodgy ice creams to kids at he beach, fiddling his books.

Wallace
They have a review at the end of every season and the conclusion is usually that there is no point at looking at what has gone before but to concentrate on the future. And so the cycle continues.
