Should have been a goalless first half, luck is turning around us

Give over, man, unless less stupidity = greater luck.

Well we didn't deserve that.

In regards to Taylor's reaction for the pen, you've always got to react like that really especially as the ref seemed to take a while to make his mind up, do all you can to put doubt in his mind.

Ba has looked good though, been involved a lot.

Thought we have had a lot more of the ball in their third but tbf I did miss the first 14 mins or so. Seemed very us though.

Cabaye was more to blame that Taylor, they should never have gotten the ball

Aye, totally s*** play by him. Done nowt this game.

Agree, expected much more from him. Tiote's been doing it all on his own in there so far. Even the set pieces have been poor.

No way that's Cabaye's fault, it was Collicini who past to him when there was man just about on him. He didn't have much choice really.

Well I don't think either side deserve to be ahead. Pretty cagey match between two sides who look nervous of each other (similar quality?).

Are you saying we're challengers for fourth? ;)

They don't look anything special. Apart from their good first ten or so minutes, it's been us who have had the better of it, which confirms the fact that we have a pretty damn good team. We haven't created any good chances yet but we've kept their attackers very quiet and lost a goal because of a bad mistake by two players. We can still turn this around if we bring on the players who are obviously better than their teammates currently starting - Ben Arfa and Marveaux.

Actually encouraged, really.  We've been pretty crap, Cabaye's set pieces have been poor although I think his general play/passing has been OK, Obertan's been wasteful as usual.

They took advantage of one mistake and scored but as bad as we've been, they've not looked like scoring.  This is there to be won.  But Pardew's got to reinforce the midfield and get the team playing with a bit more urgency going forward.

Obertan has got the ball in great positions but just doesn't drive at their defence, its something Ben Arfa does brilliantly, he has to come on for him surely.
