Tsunami
10 years man, feels like yesterday http://www.nufc.com/html/2002-12-11barcelona-a.html http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38579000/jpg/_38579885_dyermotta300split.jpg Keith Barrett played a blinder getting the return travel sorted. Cheers. Shola was almost unplayable that night. And, I'm sure it wasn't the beer that made it seem that way. We got to the ground the night before not realising it had been called off and the taxi driver didn't think it worth mentioning to us.
Superior Acuña
That Dyer moment was one of the most unbelievable things I've seen. Was thinking about it last night for some reason.

Anderson
Robert Remember listening to it on the radio in bed, one of the first times I can remember taking a real big interest in the football (I'd have watched the football in the past, but don't think I'd have had the patience to sit by a radio and listen to the game before). DubblyDubblyDubbly
Can't believe we've held onto a manager for 2 years. "Cos he's not a manager, he's the chairman's stooge

Not that hard The "decade" of 2000-2010 which spans 11 years? Obviously it is hard for you

Ronaldo
That week was probably the best I can remember being a NUFC fan. In terms of being old enough to appreciate it, absolutely. We were an incredible team on the break back then. To some extent I always unfavourably compare our current sides to that team/style. Perhaps I always will. TheGuv
The 10 years between 1st January 2000 to 1st January 2010? Yeah but a decade of the 00's would be 2000-2009. Just like the 40's would be 1940-1949. I think that's what he was getting at

Anybody remember how they found it and what they did?
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
was at work. Mate told me and I didn't believe him. Went out the back and checked my phone. I will admit at first I wasn't happy. Immediate thought was that it would just be a let down given what he did during his first spell and maybe a further step backwards. David Icke - Son of God
I'd just arrived in town for the Stoke match. Must've been about 5pm. Some pisshead was stumbling around outside Clayton St. Chippy shouting "Keegan!" I turned to wor kid and uttered something along the lines of "look at the state of that dopey cunt. What's he going on about Keegan for?" I basically hadn't entertained the idea of him coming back. We ended up in Sam Jacks (I know, I know) and took a quick glance at the tele. Noticed they had it on SSN and that yellow breaking news bar was going mental. I stopped and read it - KEVIN KEEGAN APPOINTED NEWCASTLE UNITED MANAGER. I lost my shit. I was ringing everyone I could think of. It was a mental few hours. I also remember I put a tenner on us to win 4-0, Owen first goalscorer that night. The odds were fucking obscene and I was devastated when Liam Lawrence scored a worldy with the last fucking kick of the game

Guest neesy111
Had an exam, got to student bar talking to mates who kept it quiet and then I turn round to SSN and was gobsmacked to see Keegans face. The scenes outside SJP were unbelievable, never seen anything like it in my life. Only Keegan could had done that.
