Bigger controversy failing to give the pen for the foul on Joelinton.

Why was this not discussed on match of the day?

It would have been enough for Ferguson or that other cunt klopp to kick off about Infront of the cameras post match

Didn't you hear their remit? They're not allowed to discuss bad decisions if it's against the slimy 6 unless it's in a match between them or it should have went in their favour.

Wasn't it the Wolves manager who got pulled for mentioning it?

They quickly brushed aside the 2 penalties decisions. I think the 1st one was handball, but it was likely a case of it bouncing up to hit his hand. Still though, the fact that they quickly dismissed them just shows that they never actually checked them.

I have noticed that so far this season, the non-top 6 teams don’t get the huge amounts of stoppage time in their games anymore, but the top 6 teams get a fuck load of it still if they need it. Man City have had loads of stoppage time in their last 2 games now, I think it’s 16 minutes between their 2 games of us, and Arsenal.

Arsenal where time wasting to fuck mind.

Good. VAR had a shocker.

Whoever was in VAR duty should be demoted for the season, absolute joke.

Bruno Fernandes red card overturned

Absolutely no point in VAR is there?

I’m sure we will see consistency applied across the season with these then……

It did seem harsh. But the fact you can still appeal after the VAR officials have looked at all the angles and replays and then cleared the ref’s decision. It just shows the whole VAR process up yet again.

Also, on that basis. Schar’s red should have been overturned as there is clear evidence of that egg Brereton leaning his head in first and initiating the contact.

VAR is unfit for purpose.

It was never a red to be fair

Nah it was shenanigans from Maddison, but so was Schar's. No rhyme or reason to any of it aside from preferring some laundry over others.

Lots of things they are being overly strict on to get rid of, but diving still gets rewarded way too much. I can understand that people don't want VAR to get involved even more, but I wouldn't mind them overturning incidents where a player obviously dives, and then book them insetad. Even if it's in the middle of the pitch. Because diving is a much bigger issue than Hall punching the air for half a sec from an awful decision. Diving is too rewarding currently, and with low risk.

Couldn't agree more. Cheating and unsporting behaviour is generally rewarded. Good example is the Kudus on Van de Ven one today. Before VAR intervenes Kudus steps on him several times and pushes him in the face after Van de Ven rightly gets up and goes "what the hell are you doing?". They get a yellow each. It should be okay to push someone back after they try to hurt you from behind ie Diaz on Schar. [emoji38]

The only thing you're not allowed to do (unless you are certaint teams) is shout at the ref when they keep making idiotic decisions.

Didn’t buy Gordon or Bruno’s dives to win cheap free kicks. Didn’t give what looked a blatant one on Barnes at the end. Yet a gust of wind knocking a Brighton player over and he couldn’t wait to give a foul. Shocker.

First half performance was scandalous, second half he was giving daft decisions both ways and it seemed incompetence more than anything more sinister.

His first half insistence with blowing his whistle for anything involving them was a disgrace. Halls yellow too FFS, getting booked for knowing the refs fucked up
