Yorkie
Brum derby: Mike Dean Forest vs NUFC: amateur hour You were on about that the other weekend, weren't you. Was thinking it for much of the second half. Don't wanna get in the business of harping on about being hard done by - even though we were - but ffs man having this calibre of ref clearly puts us in a disadvantaged position this weekend. Scoot
We've hit a new low in officiating in this league tonight.

Figures 1-0 Football
Mike dean would had given us the pen for the foul on Clarke Oh he'd have loved to have given it. That's a Mike Dean wet dream.
Guest firetotheworks
Mike Dean's the only ref actually doing his fucking job with those sorts of challenges.
afar
That was as bad as I can remember in recent memory, the fact it was so one sided is astonishing. Of course people like him won't be made t justify his actions, in fact at the end of the season the 2 sendings off today will help fill his "quota". Andy84
If anyone was at West Brom away in January 2010 FA cup tie and watched James Linnington, this performance was up there
cp40
this league is only competitive because the officiating turns it into a lottery.
joeyt
In the Premier League the big teams often get favourable decisions yet we're one of the biggest teams in this division and we're getting nowt

afar
Keep reading from fans from other Championship teams that we are getting all the decisions this season. All I can see are refs giving us virtually nothing. Tonight's shambles of a refereeing performance will take some beating. Sky didn't even have time at HT to criticise the fool for disallowing our goal or failing to award a penalty for the challenge on Clark I've noticed with the highlights they always tend to focus on the team playing against us, some games you watch the highlights and wonder how we won the game and had 20 shots to their 4 or something. It's weird but seems a common trait.
YNGLEGIONNAIRE
Tonight is up there with the notorious away game at Man City when Malcolm MacDonald was commentating , and said that in all his years in the game he had never witnessed officials so blatantly biased towards one side . He was absolutely livid and was suggesting that some kind of corruption must be involved.
midds
Quick question. Apart from that piece of shit tonight, when was the last time you saw a penalty given when the ball is in the centre circle?
madras
Quick question. Apart from that piece of s*** tonight, when was the last time you saw a penalty given when the ball is in the centre circle? It's where the incident takes place, not where the ball is. Should have been our free kick and the same punishment dished out to their no.10 as he kicked out first.

madras
fans at sjp need to do a job when forest come here, and be on the refs back for everything from the off. Some refs love to be up against that with "stuff you's" attitude. We (the crowd) need to be at their team, booing, whistles etc whenever they have tyhe ball. Should be doing that against all opposition really.
Guest Gomez
I think they're just enacting justice after we bought the league by spending -£35million or whatever.

Can't remember the last time an incident like that took place (play goes on and 5 seconds later 2 players tangle and the ref has to stop the game to deal with it) where the play is restarted from the spot of the incident rather than where the play/ball actually was when play was stopped? The whole thing was fucking obvious bullshit and Martin looked obviously biased tonight. It was fucking blatant.

Aye, the following applies to violent conduct (which is what one assumes Shelvey was sent off for) Against an opponent: Ball out of play • Disciplinary sanction – Send off. • Restart of play – According to the previous decision. Ball in play (offence inside the field of play) • Disciplinary sanction – Send off. • Restart of play – DFK where it occurred or penalty kick.
