LesPaul
I can only find Pardew to blame tbh (and I don't normally blame him either). The starting 11 were brilliant today but as soon as Best went off we were done.
toon25
Not really sure what Sammy offers to be honest He doesn't really offer anything at the moment. It's a fucking joke he comes on every week. This. It's because Pardew doesn't see HBA as a winger that we keep seeing Sammy. He's got potential, sure, but in games like this Pardew's a fucking idiot for not even bringing HBA on. We're lucky to have a player like him and it's a joke he's not being played. CPL
http://memegenerator.net/cache/instances/400x/11/12077/12367795.jpg HBA wouldn't have changed anything! Fucking frustrating to see our wingers who can't cross past first defender or dribble at pace at all. What you basing that on?? You just said in your second sentence that our wingers cant get past the first winger. Hello?? HBA??
Spudil
Terrible display from Pardew, he's really starting to piss me off.
TooonDoom
I'm guessing this is what Man Utd fans felt like when we got a point there.
Shayno
Rubbish result. No reason to start best today Krul 6.5 Simpson 7.5 Perch 7.5 Colo 7.5 Santon 7.5 Obertan 7 Tiote 8 Cabaye 6 Jonas 6.5 Ba 7 Best
Numbers
Missed a few chances, nowt clear cut, was clear they came for the draw. Not the end of the world more the start of a new unbeaten run.
Dave
I can only find Pardew to blame tbh (and I don't normally blame him either). The starting 11 were brilliant today but as soon as Best went off we were done. Yep. We were set up well, we had a decent shape and played some decent stuff with only the goal frame and a couple of blocks/saves keeping us out. After an hour though we looked really short on ideas. They still weren't in the game but we just needed a spark, some creativity to stir things up a bit and open their defence. Ben Arfa would have been the ideal, logical choice. If it didn't work them fair enough, but to not even try it was farcical.

M4
No reason to start best today Probably the only decision Pardew got right. (Seeing as the one to drop Raylor for forced).

Tiote wasnt our best player and Best did all the work, Ba wasn't have the threat when Best went off.

Stottie
First half good second half bad, but our final ball was poor all game. No HBA is mystifying. It looked like we'd need more quality to beat them. Besty, Tiote and Colo all looked okay on return. Shola back to normal mode unfortunately.
themanupstairs
The buck stops with Pardew on this one. He's waxed lyrical about Ben Arfa being a player that "will excite the Geordie public" and all that waffle, and he's not used him in a home match against a side that had only 2 away points prior to this fixture. His system worked in the first half, but it didn't in the 2nd. Apart from fitness issues there is no excuse for not bringing Ben Arfa on along with Shola, when he eventually did make a sub. Pathetic. littlelunchbox
Shocking decisions second half! Pardew must be responsible for this, in a game which was lacking creativity and for once we do have a player and he doesn't get on! He might say he had Vuckic on for Tiote cause he was injured but HBA should have been on before Sammy long time ago. Dont know whats happening on the training ground but im slightly worried about this situation. i dont think he had too many choices, Best got injured so that was a forced change, we were already failing to score with two strikers, it wouldn't have made too much sense putting Arfa on in place of Best as he would be playing behind Ba most of the time not beside him, besides Arfa is not enough of a threat in the air. only thing i can think of was, we could have tried three up top, putting jonas tiote and cabaye in midfield and stuck arfa ba and potato head far upfront with a proper three spearhead attack in the last 25 mins. but no garentee that would have worked either
midds
Most definitely 2 points dropped that. Just not quite cute enough to catch them out but they were there for the taking. Need to bounce back against WBA.

David28
I'm guessing this is what Man Utd fans felt like when we got a point there. Probably a bit worse tbh. They're Man Utd 'fans' in the end....
Parky
What do you do when lumping a load of balls into the balls ain't working? a) Carry on doing the same and replace like for like. b) Bring on HBA and go a little shorter and through the middle. Jayson
If we play like that for the rest of the season, we'll have a very nice season. There are positives to take. Best & Tiote being back made us a different team & even Perch looked solid next to Colo. It'll go for us next time.
Beezeri
http://memegenerator.net/cache/instances/400x/11/12077/12367795.jpg HBA wouldn't have changed anything! f***ing frustrating to see our wingers who can't cross past first defender or dribble at pace at all. What you basing that on?? You just said in your second sentence that our wingers cant get past the first winger. Hello?? HBA?? HBA is just the same....one more dribble until I'll lose the ball! And HBA isn't a winger IMO...if anything he should be played off the striker to create chances.
junkhead
ah well.. Swansea defended well in general but we should've put more pressure in the second half. Still, good performances throughout the team - especially Cabaye, Tiote and Ba. And for the sake of the team and the player, Pardew must help Ben Arfa to get back to his best. I don't know what goes on in training and how fit Hatem is but Sammy Ameobi will never be the player that Ben Arfa is.
CPL
Colo was immense as always, made Perch look decent having said that Swansea didn't even test Krul.

Pardew is looking a bit one dimensional. The amount of control we had for 70 odd min and the fact they were sitting deep would mean HBA would have time on the ball and we could go at it with a bit more creativity. Really baffling decision to keep him off the pitch. This is the sort of result managers should be held accountable for imo.
