Neil
Sabella isn't it? Don't know much about him, think he managed an Argie team beforehand. Estudiantes IIRC.

Village Idiot
Haven't Switzerland been dire since that win against us, anyway?
Neil
Haven't Switzerland been dire since that win against us, anyway? That 1-0 must have made the bookies an absolute and utter fortune.
Village Idiot
Also, I know it's just Venezuela, but at Spain right now.
Flip
Also, I know it's just Venezuela, but at Spain right now. And Venezuela have been very very decent for the last year making this result even better. Spain are just magical at their best.
Disco
Didn't know Amorebieta was Venezuelan, nice to see Bobby Soldado staking his claim, about time too.
Ameritoon
Great win for the US. Did the best we could do with that side. Getting Torres, Chandler, Donovan and a few others/younger guys in and I'm pretty confident with this squad going forward.
ponsaelius
Soldado missed a pen for hattrick against Venezuela.
The Prophet
Didn't know Amorebieta was Venezuelan, nice to see Bobby Soldado staking his claim, about time too. For obvious reasons, decided to play for them over Spain quite recently.
ponsaelius
Didn't know Amorebieta was Venezuelan, nice to see Bobby Soldado staking his claim, about time too. Born there, raised in Basque country. Finally gave up trying to get into Spain's team recently.

Village Idiot
Soldado is so obviously the best classic centreforward in Spain there should be no discussion about getting him in the plane. I'm sorry for Nando, he was one of the best in the world 3 years ago, but he just can't get out of the hole. Soldado/Villa/Llorente for our ST spots. Three completely different players, all class. Flip
Villa was class at the World Cup. Soldado and Llorente are class, and Nando wouldnt even get a spot in the Brazilian national side which says a lot when our two best strikers are young players. SEMTEX
Fifa has launched an investigation after former England manager Peter Taylor's Bahrain side beat Indonesia 10-0 in a World Cup qualifier. Bahrain needed to overturn a nine-goal deficit to stand any chance of progressing to the next stage. However, their hopes were dashed by group rivals Qatar, who equalised for a late 2-2 draw in Iran. I AM SHOCKED

I AM SHOCKED They won't find anything man.. their having major problems in their league and its split to two different leagues with players refusing to turn up for the national side, so they sent out an inexperienced side against a Bahrain time thats been on fire for the last 3 month and they got destroyed.
