He also ruled out Ridgewell, Benalouane and Baines, bearing in mind he didn't know a thing about Cisse, not how serious we can take all this. Ruled out Vertonghen and Mbiwa since this, too. Also don't think it's Rhys Williams or Samba. Could be Douglas from FC Twente, if it isn't him it looks like its going to be one not mentioned before. Very good shout but if we sign a good player now it could rule that out, we would have 4 centre halfs and unless we let one of Saylor, Williamson or Colo go in the summer i think we would stick with the 4. That would mean leaving any deal for a CB till the summer which we wont do imo and i say this because i believe we will buy a CB this window and we dont need 2 CB's IMO. Also means Williamson would keep his place, we move Santon to right back and Pieters play left back but an injury to a centre back and we move Pieters central, Santon left back and Simpson back in at right back.
