dinotheprehistoricgeordie
Sessegnon has been quality to be fair but he has too much foreign non-white flair for Sunderland. He'll be off soon enough. His wife will NEVER change his mind on the prospect of living in Sunderland. London or back to France for him, PSG can afford a much higher calibre player now, so where to? I hear Arsenal need a midfielder. Seriously though, possibly QPR if they stay up?

Beren
QPR couldn't afford him. Wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool went for him. Even though he doesn't fit with their, erm, profile.
Disco
Can never rule out Arsenal. A French speaking attacking midfielder with no real position. Arsene's wet dream that man.

You can almost guarantee they'll try to sign a highish profile black player in the summer though.
Thespence
"Sessegnon more consistent" Sessy has only looked good since the turn of the fucking year ffs!!! Is that all you need now to be classed as a consistent footballer half a bleeding season.
Geordie Ahmed
Fuckin hell they actually believe Mclean is better than Ben Arfa I wonder if they still think they dodged a bullet with Cisse

Ryan_Taylor
It was utterly mental when they were trying to claim Sessengnon is better than Ben Arfa, never mind McLean. They really do try to clutch at the straws. We are the best team in the north east, how aren't they used to that!? TaylorJ_01
Look, Sessengnon is a cracking player, no doubt. Ben Arfa has ridiculous ability though, on his day he could play for pretty much anyone.

Funny that.
Mr. Snrub
Apparently Ben Arfa's a greedy cunt and not a team player, unlike Sess. Sessegnon - 24 games, 6 assists Ben Arfa - 18 games, 7 assists

But then of course, the League doesn't matter to them this season, as it's all about who got further in the Cup. EDIT: This post is brilliant... just when it seemed quite sensible, it went all RTG at the end.... http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showpost.php?p=12208886&postcount=12 Both camps say the other is obsessed. To be honest for just a sec, isn't it fairly obvious it's pretty much the same on both sides?? Considering the heated rivalry it's only natural to want the other to do bad, hence people talking alot about it (obsession some calls it). Or did I spoil something now? That said, Sunderland is a likable and classy club while they (like attracts like I guess) always seem to have at least five players, owners or managers who are twats of the highest order - and (I might have SAFC specs on, not sure) their fans seem to be a bit more twatty as well

Anderson
This all just comes across as a bit 'sour grapes'. By all accounts (and my workmate is a West Brom fan and was there) they were very very good yesterday and whether or not the guy is a tosser in person he's clearly done a magnificent job this year. I don't expect Brian Clough or Alex Ferguson were/are particularly nice in person. So what? You can only judge a manager on results and he has achieved way beyond expectation. It's also far too late in the season to keep saying 'it's luck'. It's not. Not over 30 games it isn't. Their 'inevitable' bad run is no more inevitable for them than any other club (us included). This misguided obsession with waiting for them 'to sink like a stone' is just sad from the viewpoint of anyone who now lives outside the NE... http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=686053&page=3#ixzz1qE3Yh6wc My word, signs of intelligent life on RTG! Fenham Mag
Mackems associate being suave with being a cunt. Absolutely astonishing that thread. Amazing scenes. One wrongcock is having an eppy because he said "we've been awesome all season" rather than "the players have been awesome all season". A clear indication of Pardew's arrogance apparently I also liked "the defence launch the ball like a champagne cork", because obviously all three of our goals yesterday were route one
