They seem bitter about the appointment of Lee Clark.

Should have been an ex Sun'lun player who got that job, Magedia strikes again.

Clark is ex Sun'lun... :troll:

That was kinda my point but, maybe delivered with irony too sweet to detect....

Yeah, you pretty much came across as an idiot... Must try harder

 Nah, I think it is you who came across as the idiot.

What the fuck are they talking about man, do they think that Lille and Lyon have 1 man who finds them talent from "deepest darkest areas of non-league European football" and ushers them all into their accadamy like?

Graham Carrs job isn't to find unknown players who we can turn into stars (although that may be part of it), it's to find players, whether they be unknown to the masses or otherwise, who will fit into and improve our team, so far the results speak for themselves.

Granted it itn't just Carr, it's the whole team at the top who are involved, but he does the legwork.

Guest Mackem Logic

Some classic mack-tracking going on in that thread.

Last summer, we had signed a load of foreign unknowns.

Now, they were well known to everyone, and Carr deserves no credit for finding them.

And his sons a poofta!

It is quite simple, no?  Carr watches loads of matches and recommends to NUFC whether we should sign player A and / or B.  Doesn't matter whether the player in question is Lionel Messi or Francey Français from the French none league or whether the world is aware they exist or otherwise.  It is all about whether we can sign said player and whether the price is correct for us.

And before anyone tries to claim credit for Francey Français, I found him first.....  Beautiful skills and quite reasonably priced.

Fletcher or Giroud?

The Giroud deal will have no impact on Fletcher's price at all. Fletcher is younger, British and a proven PL goalscorer. Not to mention Montpellier have no money and Wolves do.

At you know that Fletcher can consistently score goals in the EPL. Giroud is an unknown.

Fletch for me like.
