NUFCDoog Posted August 26, 2012 Share Posted August 26, 2012 Aye but thing with Dempsey is he's burnt his bridges completely with Fulham so he has to go, Liverpool are fucked really because of their actions attempting to sign him so if no one else comes in, which its not looking like there is at the minute other than Roma but apparently he wants to stay in England. I've been told he was at Sunderland.this weekend for talks and whilst he'd prefer to go Liverpool just like Johnson would have preferred Tottenham he's not.against signing for Sunderland. So basically he can't stay at Fulham, Liverpool have more or less cocked it up its only really Sunderland who are left with a serious offer. Lad I know, he doesn't even follow football so would have no reason to lie. or Lad I know, works quite high up is some organisation that has no involvement with this transfer but for some reason he knows all the details anyway because it's a sports related company. Johnson would get in our 1st eleven down the left, the other two aren't a patch on what we have already imo. If we could of got Flecther for 5-6 mil i would of definately considered it considering its shola as 3rd choice at the minute, Same for Johnson and Dempsey, if the fees were reasonable then by all means go for it. Not sure I buy into the idea that Johnson couldn't play on the left either, I think if you had him and HBA either side of Ba/Cisse switching wings then it would work very well. That's settled then, he's shite! When did I say he was shite? I think he is very good but not as good as Ben Arfa and he plays in Ben Arfa's position. I think it would be pointless playing Ben Arfa on the left too even if he could do a job swapping there for limited periods of a game. Why does everything get twisted on here?
