WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Pardew's probably on the phone to Carver now, telling him to find a stream and saying he wants us to be more like Reading.

Dave
Their team is seriously wank, 2 midfielders playing in defence and a defender in centre mid tonight. They'll still win.
Neil
Sunderland had an excellent start which was enough to win the game. Big chunks of it they were shite. Which tells you everything you need to know about Reading. Going to take a miracle to keep them up.
Jack Flash
Hopefully this'll be their "Wigan". Their next few months are probably harder than ours.
Beren
Didn't Pardew say they'd definitely stay up? (Reading that is) Hah.

They won the game because they were a lot more hungry than Reading. In many ways it summed up Sunderland - it'll be good enough to stay clear of relegation but lacking quality to do anything of any note. They'll finish 13th/14th, again. That means we could finish below them.
Dave
Reading and QPR are doomed already IMO. It's one from five to join them.
Ikon
And if we strengthen our team in january i can't see us go anywhere but upwards (after jan that is)
Karjala
Fast start from the mackems then O'Neills tactics kicked in. Majority of play was Reading, but they are utter garbage and must go down. Mackems match at Southampton will be as big as ours at home to QPR.

Minhosa
Reading and QPR are doomed already IMO. It's one from five to join them. If Redknapp turns one of his next few games into a win then they're going to go on from strength to strength imho. He'll be pointing to the fact they're unbeaten since his arrival. Not only that, their Chairman will invest in January. Their next games are Fulham (H), NUFC (A) and then WBA (H). If they turn over Fulham that would be 6 points from 12 since HR's arrival. I fear they will too.

S.S.R.
Call me crazy, but I saw a lot to be hopeful about in the Fulham game; though how dispirited we become after the hard run of games coming up remains to be seen.

Could have said the same about Southampton only 3 weeks ago. I can see QPR improving as I reckon 'arry will be given money to spend in January. brummie
I honestly think Reading and QPR have zero chance of staying up. QPR because they've created themselves too much instability and short termism behind the scenes, and Reading because they are absolutely dreadful. We put in as bad a performance as I've seen in years against Reading, and still beat them, they're awful
