Nobody
In true Invicta fashion, what do you think?
James
Don't really want to pressurise the lad, but he already looks like he will possess attributes that Given never has (ie good distribution and dominance) as well as being a good shot stopper. We'll have to wait and see.
Guest smoggeordie
This will be interesting based on the fact a lot of people have only seen him once.
Bad Mongo
This will be interesting based on the fact a lot of people have only seen him once. I've never seen him, so I voted yes. No reason to take these things too seriously.
Fugazi
Impossible to tell at the moment, whenever i've watched him for the reserves or the juniors he's had nowt to do, they won 13-0 last time I was there.

Newcastle Fan
from what i saw from his debut,he will be a legend here, just give him the proper training,a game once in a while saw him in the palermo game,a few games with the dutch u-19 squad, few reserve's game, always thought he will be fantastic, and he didnt prove note:i also think luque will be fantastic if given a chance,so don't blame me if krul fails to impress
Disco
IMO we should give him a season loan to someone in the Championship or preferably a lower rated Eredivisie side such as Roda or Gronigen so he can get a good run of games. I'd also like to see us set up one of the Dutch clubs a la Man U have with Antwerp of Belgium
Taylor Swift
If he does turn out to be as good as Given, we'd be one fucking lucky team.
Guest ticaL
Well he can't save a penalty, much like Shay, so why not?

Dave
Given must wear those fingersave gloves as he in sponsored by Adidas and is a top star. Therefore he'd floor the barefisted Krul with the aid of those plastic bits tbh.
Yorkie
I've only ever seen Krul once... but he looked great and seemed to possess the qualities of an excellent keeper. But Given's the best goalkeeper we've ever had. So no.

Leazes1986
No wonder our youngsters don't live up to expectations. People were asking if Chopra was the new Shearer, they moan when Taylor makes mistakes because they expect him to play like John Terry, and now people are comparing our young 4th choice keeper to one of the best goalkeepers in europe. Can they not just be their own players?
PM
Well he can't save a penalty, much like Shay, so why not? Apart from the ones he saved in Youth Cup shoot-outs last season.
LooneyToonArmy
Quite the compliment by Juve's chief scout (he is sensible ) HANDS OFF!! Juventus chief scout: Newcastle's Krul the next Buffon Newcastle United have potentially the world's greatest goalkeeper on their books in Dutch youngster Tim Krul. That's the opinion of Juventus chief scout Pasquale Sensibile, who told Tuttosport today: "We keep an eye on all the best youngsters from around the world. "For example, Krul. The Dutchman is the future Gigi Buffon." Sensibile also mentioned Southampton fullback Gareth Bale: "Bale, the Southampton left-back, has already made his debut for Wales." Guest Tom
He's has played one game for us, lets not get carried away. Where as Given has been consistantly our BEST EVER KEEPER for years and years now.

Comparing Shay and Krul is a nonsense, but that's some comment to have made about him. Brilliant.

Beezeri
How about loaning him out to a Championship side? Would get some very valuable first-team experience and that's never bad what it comes to developement...
