Ramos hadn't taken a pen since he was in Sevilla's youth teams, apparently, but at least he had the guts to step in and take it. And Kaká, what a performance Surely he'll be off this summer. colinmk Posted April 26, 2012 Share Posted April 26, 2012 I don't see how people can blame Ronaldo, he scored two goals FFS, and two other Madrid players missed penalties (including Ramos who did his best Jonny Wilkinson impression). Of the list of people for Madrid to blame, Ronaldo is damn near the bottom of the list. This and the penalty wasn't that bad, just a great save from Neuer. It's that you chose to use Messi's penalty miss as some sort of proof that he's not the best, and you conveniently choose to ignore his performances and goals in two finals. There's no problem with having a different viewpoint if it's logically consistent. Yours isn't. And of course you chose to contrast Messi's miss with what Ronaldo would have done, again also ignoring how shit Ronaldo has been in big games over his Real career.
