Thankfully, Liverpool fans have done that for us already.

That's illogical though, the line isn't straight. If it is, the posts aren't vertical.

not to mention that they are comparing the portion of the line half-way between 6 and 18 yard boxes to the position of the ball. is the ball going out for a goal kick then?

Yep, that's a good point, drop a line down from the edge of the ball to where the line is and it's not over.  O0

I don't know if that Carroll header might not have been over the line.  I've got a screen grab of it and the goal frame isn't straight, you can't judge on that.  If you trace the line down the ball does seem to be just over.

But unless it's clearly over, I don't think a goal should be given.

Juan Mata v Spurs in the semi? That was given.

Chelsea have enjoyed some amazing luck over the last month. Not last Weds night though.

Zaragoza are performing a bit of a miracle in La Liga. They were bottom not so long ago iirc, but they're now 3 points from safety. Rayo, 17th, are getting beat. Zaragoza are currently playing already relegated Racing at home. 1-1.

ITV's graphic probably isn't accurate btw.

I can remember during the last World Cup ITV "proved" a ball had crossed the line whilst the BBC's graphics "proved" it hadn't!

I've got to admit that on a very basic human level I felt a bit sorry for Carroll and Enrique (what the fuck's with his bushy nut btw!?) because I felt they both played so well during that half an hour period. However, I tried to envisage them winning the cup for a team I really dislike and I realised it is the very much lesser of two evils.

Man, what scenes... but couldn't be other way. Truly got the goosebumps when the stadium started signing the anthem as he left. Is it the end of an era? Have I just experienced the happiest moments I'll ever have as a Barça fan? Who the fuck cares, nobody will ever take this away from me.

Thanks Pep.
