Dinho lad
downing played well, according to Barnes.
Big Geordie
I don't know if that Carroll header might not have been over the line. I've got a screen grab of it and the goal frame isn't straight, you can't judge on that. If you trace the line down the ball does seem to be just over. But unless it's clearly over, I don't think a goal should be given. Juan Mata v Spurs in the semi? That was given. Chelsea have enjoyed some amazing luck over the last month. Not last Weds night though.

Neil
Zaragoza are performing a bit of a miracle in La Liga. They were bottom not so long ago iirc, but they're now 3 points from safety. Rayo, 17th, are getting beat. Zaragoza are currently playing already relegated Racing at home. 1-1.
Frazzle
I've been to Rayo this year, class crowd. Wanted them to stay up

Guest Geordiesned
ITV's graphic probably isn't accurate btw. I can remember during the last World Cup ITV "proved" a ball had crossed the line whilst the BBC's graphics "proved" it hadn't!
Guest firetotheworks
I've got to admit that on a very basic human level I felt a bit sorry for Carroll and Enrique (what the fuck's with his bushy nut btw!?) because I felt they both played so well during that half an hour period. However, I tried to envisage them winning the cup for a team I really dislike and I realised it is the very much lesser of two evils.

Village Idiot
Man, what scenes... but couldn't be other way. Truly got the goosebumps when the stadium started signing the anthem as he left. Is it the end of an era? Have I just experienced the happiest moments I'll ever have as a Barça fan? Who the fuck cares, nobody will ever take this away from me. Thanks Pep. Village Idiot
I have the feeling he`ll rather go other places before coming back. I actually think he'll be back at some point in the somewhat distant future, but not soon.

Stifler
I'm pleased to see Sheff Wed promoted. It would be nice to see them come back into the Premiership, maybe they could do a Norwich or Southampton.

Aye, would like to see them back in the PL (and at the same time, let Sheffield United rot for a few years in the Championship/League 1).
