Pardew and Carver on BBC radio Newcastle (old thread)

Recommended Posts

So looks like Debuchy and an aeirally dominant centre back will be signed (Douglas). Along with Curtis Good who he said was on trial and he thinks hes going to be a top top player. (This links with articles in the Australian Press). Amalfitano will come in. After that possible a wide/striker type player and we are all set.

Pretty sure it was the French guy not Curtis Good.

Possibly, to me it sounded more like Curtis Good, because he then spoke about the three french trialists separately.

Looking to ship out Ranger  (convicts), not ship any in. :p

Anyone have any idea why it's coming up with a 'media selector request failed' error on my phone? Im trying to view it through the embedded version on my browser. It's not even on the iPlayer app.

So he wants a defender capable of scoring 8 goals? Jan Vertonghen has scored 8 goals in the league this season...  :laugh2:

Just listened to it, really enjoyed hearing Pards & JC together (seems like a good bond there).

Think he's right when he said bringing JC in was his best move so far.  O0

Pards sounds like he's got his head screwed on, that's for sure. Let's hope they get the players they're after.

Top guys & well done on the award, you deserve it. O0 O0 O0

Bringing in a set-piece specialist :fwap:

Pardew said in this interview after last season the he was bringing in a set piece specialist for the next season.  Wonder if something surprising might happen late this transfer window.
