Parky
They came over here to get money than in France. No suprise there's no spirit in the side. ...and to get in the shop window.
Barnes23
He was crap last night, but I'm still confident he can be a quality player for us. Those wittering on about his nationality/our recruitment policy would do well to remember his performance against England at Euro 2012, where he was easily one of the best players on the pitch. When an entire team performs as we did last night, scapegoating individuals serves only to deflect away from the wider picture.

Skirge
He is a quality player yes he got taken apart last night it was not like he wasn't trying he was just out classed as were most of the side.
Tiotes Witch Doctor
The problem lies with the tactics for the most part so its hard to justify blaming certain players over others but that performance from Debuchy last night was far worse than I ever saw from Simpson and I hated Simpson with a passion. Guest Phil K
He's yet to have a "good game" wonder if we can send him back to France as part of a deal for his mate Cabs ?

Stuy_O
He's yet to have a "good game" wonder if we can send him back to France as part of a deal for his mate Cabs ? Chelsea, Southampton, Stoke? Was absolutely sound in those matches and was ok imo in the others he made riks in. Those errors put pressure on him slightly and yesterdays display has cast a huge question over wether he has the stomach for being a Newcastle player or is he just here coz his mate is. I have no doubt whatsoever Debuchy is a good player, but he definitely needs to start proving he wants to wear the shirt.
The College Dropout
There's the lad that got sent off. The scarecrow up front. And Debuchy.
The College Dropout
It's not a forum thing either. Carragher and Neville both mentioned how bad he was.

Flip
Better today. Couldn't possibly have been worse True. But he's having an ok game. Probably going to give away a pen soon but until now he's been very solid.
Lotus
Was ok today, definitely.
Sean
Still got skinned at least once, also I've yet to see much attacking threat from him, crosses were poor today. Looks slow too.
Ronaldo
I thought he was meant to have a bit of pace?
themanupstairs
Much more solid defensively today. Tried to get forward a lot but was largely ignored. When he wasn't, he never received the right ball that would open up the space in front of him (see his goal in preseason). Hopefully this will come with time. 54
Thought he was decent today, went forward and supported Ben Arfa well, still a bit shaky defensively, but did ok overall.
Novocastrian
I'd back Geremi to beat him over 100m, could probably give him a head start anarl.

Jayson
He was better today & supported the attack more in the 2nd half. We're going to crap it every game for the rest of the season a player runs at him one on one though.
Guest palnese
Still thinks he's much better than Simpson.
