David28
in short : harry can swallow (what goes around comes around) chelsea thoroughly deserve their achievements. end. Barcelona thoroughly deserved their Champions League win last year, what Chelsea have done this year isn't much better than Greece 2004 except they have an astronomical wage bill that would suggest they might fancy approaching a Champions League final with a plan beyond defending for their lives. Bang on. My sentiments exactly. Greece in 2004 was the greatest achievement i'v ever seen from a football side. Tbf to Greece, they were the most in-form team in international football going into that tournament. That's an interesting stat indeed. Made me just go and searching for the current most in-form team....
juniatmoko
Lamp was immense. Played like pirlo as deep lying playmaker by spreading long passes all over the pitch. Discipline enuff by not going forward often (to keep defense line up intact) but instead playing all over Chelsea attack by spreading long passes. The true chelsea leader. Made some huge mistakes at the back (2 that I can remember instantly) that almost cost Chelsea, though. Apart from that, agree. He was the leader out there. Guest Phil K
Chelsea were awful to watch in all of their games just about and damn right lucky in the last 2. I'm sure in less than a half a dozen years, people will have forgotten HOW they won, just that they DID win. Even Stau Bucharest who beat Barcelona in the final with a defend in depth for dear life approach for 90 minutes, and hope to win on pens isn't really remembered. Only that they DID win. So it is with Chelsea. Or that Man Yoo were outplayed for 89 minutes by Bayern Munich - just that they won. Only the great performances are remembered. And few of them, too

Well, 2002 it was not that much of a surprise that Brazil won - even taking into consideration that they were struggling during the qualifiers. Same goes for France who were surely in the top 3. Lamp is a good player and deserves that CL-trophy, unlike Drogba (diving cunt) and Terry (racist cunt), but he doesn't have Pirlo's passing abilities in his locker. Pirlo is capable of hitting THE killer pass that nobody saw coming. Like Cabaye's pass against Stoke Chelsea defended heroically, but never again will such an inferior team win the CL. Against Barca: 3 shots on goal scored two. Against Bayern they scored on their first goal attempt. Messi missed on chances that he converts 9 of 10 times..
