Incognito Posted July 5, 2012 Share Posted July 5, 2012 The Cov fans are disappointed that they are losing him though they were ecstatic that we took Best and Bellamy off their hands in the past. They don't see him as a defensive midfielder, more an industrious type player who is very raw and gets up and down the pitch, until he runs out of steam, which as he's very young, he's prone to do. The story of him going to the training and insisting on a trial is true....when he was told to find a local league club , he turned and ran out of the training ground and upon seeing him run, the coach called him back and agreed to trial him. Considering how quickly he hit the ground running for us and basically turned us from mid-table to CL (along with Robert).
