macphisto
Never seen this interview before, but well worth a watch. I wonder what he would think of MOTD today???
TheGuv
I never get bored of this interview! Saying that, if that was what MOTD was like then, what he fuck would he be calling it now? He'd probably be watching Shirley Williams i suppose
Ishmael
Have to admire certain elements of Clough's persona, but the man talked a lot of s***.
Dr. Nguyen Van Falk
Clough comes across as a right wanker tbh.

macphisto
I actually think he come across all right and talks a lot of sense. I did like the part where he pointed out that he pays their wages via the license fee.

Guest neesy111
I can never decide whether i like Clough or not. Like him or not, the greatest manager this country has seen by a country mile!
Hanshithispantz
If he was an average manager I would hate him tbh, but his arrogance is justified, the same with Mourinho (who seems to split peoples opinions 50/50). Ultimately he was a brilliantly character and brought a lot to the game.
Ronaldo
I can never decide whether i like Clough or not. Like him or not, the greatest manager this country has seen by a country mile! Better than SAF? Not a chance.
Neil
Don't think he was a genius, but a very good manager with a big set of bollocks. Tremendous character.
TheGuv
Forgot SAF took two teams from nowhere and won them the first division title within a couple of seasons like. And he's Scottish not English
Ronaldo
How's that relevant?

Tiresias
It's difficult to compare to modern managers due to how the game develops, arguably it was a more level playing field for him to win the league so easier for him, but considering no-one has achieved similar with the playing field as it is now it seems churlish to diminish the achievement of winning a league title season after taking them up and then winning 2 consecutive european cups. Everyone always points out personality flaws which maybe are fair but secretly deep down everyone loves a charismatic genius bastard, see mouinho

TheGuv
Tragic to think he retired at 58, when manager's can now go onto
SEMTEX
Tragic to think he retired at 58, when manager's can now go onto 70 I would doubt his ability to manage a team in the late 90s personally. Due to his style.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
I can never decide whether i like Clough or not.
