Big Geordie
Dutch mate of mine on FB rates de Jong quite highly - reckons he has a good touch/movement and has the potential to do well in the PL. Also reckons we are still in for Anita who is 'much better' than Tiote as a DMC - he is said to be too small to play DL.
TherealnorthernTOON
Tbf, I really think that 10mp is kinda steep for an totally unproven just broken through striker in an inferior league. Bet we can find something similar lesser risk in the french, german or spanish league. Even portuguese league?
Unbelievable
Who's this Mohamed chap anyway? One of the best dutch journo's..... know his s*** when it comes to dutch football. Never heard of him. I cant say i know of him through watching the games, but i was told he knows his stuff and he's the guy to follow if you want Eredivisie info.... Maybe its not true but that's what i was told. Don't know who told you but he's neither Dutch or a journalist, just some random English ajax fan judging by his twatter account..

taxfree
http://www.teamtalk.com/thefootball50 Mohamed Moallim - "Like James Appell, here's another man outstanding in his own European field. We've chosen experts to represent all the top nations in the current UEFA co-efficients table, to give a clued-up continental input to our list. Mohamed Moallim delivers on the Dutch Eredivisie and is on top of all things Oranje too."
The Prophet
Again, it seems far too public to be true given how sneaky we usually are.

Unbelievable
Fairly obvious. He's generally on top of all things Eresdivisie. Why would a bloke on the Internet reporting from London on some random football sites be considered a trushtworthy source ahead of professional journalist in the Netherlands with actual access to the clubs and players? All he does is report what he reads elsewhere and voice an opinion, just like any other fan on any fan forum. Dutch football specialist my arse.. LoveItIfWeBeatU
I was quite impressed with Mandzukic! As was Pards. I'm sure I read within the last week that Mandzukic has a €9m purchase price clause in his contract. I highly doubt we'd be interested in him unless we'd been tracking him for years. I don't see NUFC buying policy being swayed by a few decent performances at the Euros.

Anyway, maybe I should rephrase it. He's a great source when it comes to Dutch football. I've seen other well thought of/recognized football people come to him with questions regarding his field. jdckelly
Didn't Ashley keep on raising Carroll's price when Liverpool were frothing all over him? Maybe, unfortunately for Twente we're not Liverpool. If they really have increased their asking price from one offer to the next (which sounds insane so I'm not sure its true at all) then we'll walk away tomorrow. pretty much this
EthiGeordie
I dont think we should or need to bid more than 10 mil Pounds.
Beren
Initial thought is that I'd much rather this money went towards CB/RB. Not privy to what other irons we have in the fire on those fronts though, obviously. Wait and see, I guess.
ponsaelius
Hopefully if we do sign him we can teach him a thing or two about headed goals. Prancy Dutch fanny.

Dan Gleebals
Dont think we should go any higher than this bid, maybe add ons further down the line but no more by way of initial investment. If the recent rumours are true and we are after 3 players, the top targets seem to be De Jong Debuchy Anita Not bad at all, this lot would cost around 25M I would have thought. Would be a great summer that although the press seem to have gone quiet on CD targets, not a bad thing I guess given our previous under radar sighings. rocksammy
Upped to 12 million pounds according to The Dutch daily paper AD Sportwereld. I would like us to have a really quality backup for tiote / (cabaye). a DM. we still need a good CB...its quiet on that front so far....still think we will sign one. Taylor back also....he had his best season ever before getting injured....which was very positive.
